Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Anime – To Be Released on Early 2010 as a FilmSeptember 18, 2009
Okay, maybe this is more than 24-hours late, but still. For those who do not know yet, V Jump announced that the 10th Anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! will be celebrated by featuring a film containing the three main protagonists of each anime incarnation.
It is revealed that it will open on Japanese theaters in 2010. The heroes are set to fight an evil villain named “Paradox”. For the complete article, here’s an ANN link.

These pictures are from the 10-second promotional video for the 10th Anniversary film that are featured every start of recent Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s episodes. They are all shown with some of their signature monsters, like Yugi with Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, Judai with his Neos and other Elemental Heroes and Yusei with his Stardust Dragon and his Warriors and Synchrons.
(Thanks to Ryu for the following update)
Although back then, there was such a thought of a Yugi vs Judai concept, which was scrapped and later, we only got a 2-part episode in the end of GX in which we didn’t see who emerged victorious. Yugi had the upper hand but Judai’s hax may have kicked in from out of nowhere. We will never know. They’re promoting this one very well and since it’s their 10th Anniversary, I doubt they’ll scrap this one as well.
Now let us all await this promising… 3D graphics thing. Will it be the characters themselves or just every monster they control? It would be kinda ugly to see the characters 3D-fied.
This is the Bunny Chief, over and out!
