Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 14 – Those who lurk undergroundJuly 10, 2009
What a very nice title, not to mention that the episode is starting to get exciting.
The episode started with Roy, walking among a bunch of irrelevant people in the military. He arrived at some room and asked if the Fuhrer is available but sadly he is not around at that time.
The Fuhrer then is shown in front of the Devil’s Nest, together with his army.
Greed, who was fighting two powerful alchemists, made his escape to the sewers. Unfortunately, after finding Alphonse, King Bradley appeared, telling them that he wont allow Greed to escape.
Armstrong, on the other hand, is having a fight with Rua. They fought using their fist but was interfered by Armstrong’s backup. Dolcetto arrived and hid themselves in the smoke.
King Bradley totally have the advantage on Greed, proudly telling Greed about his past and how he reached the top. He also told Greed that he doesn’t have the ultimate shield but he have the ultimate eye.
Greed went back to where Alphonse is, immensely damaged. Rua and Dolcetto arrived at the scene, attacking the Furher at the risk of their lives, asking to keep Martel safe.
Fuhrer successfully killed everyone, including Martel which is inside Alphonse body. Alphonse’s alchemy circle was covered with Martel’s blood, making him remember what happened at the time he was absorbed to the truth.
Alphonse woke up, finding himself together with his brother. Bradley appeared unto them and asked if they are Greed’s acquiantance. Edward replied no to all of Bradley’s questions.
During that night, Izumi was lying in the bed, talking to Bradley. Izumi said that she thanks Bradley for saving the Elric brothers. Bradley asked Izumi if she wants to gain the title of being a state alchemist, Izumi declined the offer afterwards.
Outside, Edward was cleaning Alphonse’s armor together with Armstrong. Edward said that Greed has a tattoo of Ouroboros in his hand and ended up mentioning Hughes’ name. Armstrong, surprised, told Edward not to do reckless things and leaves
Alphonse then told Edward that he remembered everything that had happened during the time he was sent to the truth. Sadly, he couldn’t find anything about the human transmutation.
King Bradley was again shown, showing him together with Greed and the other homunculi except Sloth. They revealed that King Bradley is the youngest of them all and his name is Wrath.
Before Envy started picking up a fight with Greed, their Father interrupts that discussion, telling them that they can’t fight in front of him. He asked Greed if he wanted to work at his side once again but Greed declined, telling that he can’t excercise greed at full potential if he sided with him.
Upon hearing Greed’s answer, a bath of blazing lava (I dunno but it’s red… and hot…) opened from underneath Greed and dips Greed’s feet in it. After Greed gets dipped completely to the lava, a red substance was created and poured it in a glass. Father drinks it afterwards.
At the end, Bradley can be seen together with his family. His son, Selim, said that he is a fan of the Fullmetal alchemist and he wanted to be like him in the future.
GAH! IT’S CHANGING NOW!
The episode revealed so much that can’t been seen during the first season. They also revealed all the homunculus in the new series ( I guess they dont want to surprise everyone that Bradley is a homunculus). Also, since that’s all the homunculus there is, I guess the Elric brother’s mother and first season’s wrath wont be appearing at this series.
*sigh* Poor Greed, he got cut out of the picture again after being in for 2 episodes. I hope a miracle came and return him back even for a single episode.
Anyway, I believe the next episode will be entirely new, so dont miss it.
