To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 19 – Biribiri wa Maid-sama

February 20, 2010

You're not the only one bored by all these fillers, Biribiri...

Tokiwadai Middle School Girl’s Dormitory opens its doors to everyone with an invitation. What could be inside? None other than maids and maids and more maids! Anything else? Maids doing stitching, painting, flower arranging, calligraphy, tea ceremony, cooking–you name it! Just add the word MAID in front! But don’t go anywhere yet! Misaka Mikoto is about to show everyone a dazzling performance… what kind? Watch and see!

Expect every secondary character introduced to appear, minus Kiyama Harumi.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 18 – Birthdays, Stalkers and JALAPEÑO!

February 12, 2010

Inverted colors make everything look awesome... well, maybe only in the vintage GameBoy Pokemon games...

I would like to extend my wishes of happy birthday to Kyon from our blogging team! Have a good one today! Ironically, this episode has a birthday theme to it!

So… yeah. This episode is still a filler concerning another side character. Today, we tackle the love life of the Tokiwadai dorm’s supervisor. This time though, the main characters are involved directly with this. Expect this to remind you of watching Kobato. rather than watching Railgun.

Yes, indeed, this is not Kobato.

Expect an orphanage, orphans, volunteers, volunteer guy with glasses, possible relationship between owner and glasses guy… this isn’t Kobato., by the way.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 17 – A Nameless Nun Appears!

February 2, 2010

"Ohnoes!" "Take that! Smelly Armpit Attack!!"

This (filler) episode is about Tessou Tsuzuri, the glasses clumsy girl part of Antiskill. It’s about her daily life not only as a teacher but also her work with the Antiskill. Good for a bit of chuckle but not heavy on the entertainment department. Some characters from the original series also appear such as that weird nun whose name I cannot remember anymore and that uninteresting vampire or something Himegami Aisa.

Though there’s a slight hint of new major character first appearing here.

Expect a kind-of dull filler episode, only salvaged by a nun’s short appearance…

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 16 – Green Armbands Are So Freaking COOL!!

January 27, 2010

From now on, they will replace Uiharu and Ruiko from the main cast!

The second and last part of the mini Konori arc. Kurozuma is determined to end the Big Spider that he also created. Hebitani tries shaking him off and it seems he has a mysterious contact who awarded him with the Capacity Down. Konori starts an emo spree. Don’t worry though, it’s just for one episode but still slightly annoying.

…oh and… the main characters are involved, somewhat… maybe… okay, a bit.

Expect more Konori, gray-scale flashbacks and multiple ownage system.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 15 – Konori Reacts!

January 20, 2010

A film by Kuroko Productions... presents...

I’m back with Railgun 15!

And so, we kick off in a new arc today, tackling the Skillout people, gangs of Level 0 who attack espers due to envy and probably having nothing better to do with their lives. Misaka and Kuroko are on the case, as a substitute for Konori, who keeps acting strange. Meanwhile, a passerby hero (who isn’t Touma, by the way–shock!) beats up the Big Spider guys. What could be a small case may lead to something big again.

Expect obvious Konori reaction, milk cartons and lots of thugs in action.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 14 – Limiter Removal

January 11, 2010

In this episode of Railgun, Furude Rika makes a cameo!

Hello. I am not J, but I’ll be continuing his legacy. I am reviving Railgun today.

His last post was in episode 5 or something but I won’t pick up from there… instead, I’ll be doing the most recent one.

This episode is about the victims of the Level Upper case, though mostly featuring Ruiko. They were sent to a special lesson where their abilities have been put to the test, at the same time, being lectured about surpassing their own limits.

Expect Ruiko filling 80% of the episode, chibi Komoe-sensei and BANCHOU!

A Certain Scientific Railgun 02: It’s Important to Keep Yourself Hydrated on Hot Summer Days, Y’know

October 15, 2009
This time, the Evil Villian, KAMIJOU TOUMA, has planted a bomb somewhere in ACADEMY CITY! This sounds like a job for SUPER MIKOTO!

This time, the Evil Villian, KAMIJOU TOUMA, has planted a bomb somewhere in Academy City! This sounds like a job for SUPER MIKOTO!

It’s a parade of fanservice in this episode of Railgun, none of which I will be covering! If you don’t mind that, then please do read on.

A Certain Scientific Railgun 01: The ELECTROM@STER

October 6, 2009
PRESS START

-PRESS START-

Whereas A Certain Magical Index depicts the many misfortunes and sufferings of Touma Kamijou, A Certain Scientific Railgun, a spinoff series, is based on the everyday occurrences of Mikoto Misaka’s school life. The two series occur in parallel, sometimes even intertwining with one another. Shortly after the animated adaption of Index ended its initial broadcast, an animation project for Railgun was announced — and, well, here it is.
