FULL METAL Alchemist – Theme of Lan Fan

Some of you may know that I’m a huge fan of Nana Mizuki (You know… Fate Testarossa and Akashiya Moka… oh crap… I didn’t knew she was Hyuuga Hinata as well…). Well… I didn’t like her because she is the voice actor of my all time favorite characters but of her singing voice. If you haven’t heard any of Magical Lyrical Nanoha (any version) songs yet, you should. Add to your list her albums such as Ultimate Diamond and The Museum while you’re at it.

Aside from that, here is another song made by Nana Mizuki. Theme of Lan Fan is one of the character songs of the new full metal alchemist brotherhood. There are currently 3 character songs that had been released (and I have no freaking clue where to get the second one). But you know what? They are damn good.

In the last episode, Sloth (not the sexy one) entered the Brigg’s fortress ‘accidentally’ while doing his job. They saw what the monster’s power is and this will be the episode where they fight back. Expect explanations, surprising follow ups and of course, Olivia.

Episode 29 of FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Unfortunately, this episode doesn’t contain battle scenes. It is filled with conversation that will strengthen the backbone of the plot for the next episodes. Don’t worry though, as I said from the last reviews, every episode is good, and that includes this one.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood 28 – Father

-Character of the week-

The recap episode is done people! We’re now on the second half of Fullmetal Alchemist. I thank Bones for adapting this one hell of a masterpiece (I don’t read manga much… I really want to though). I never felt this ever since I saw Suzumiya Haruhi back in 2007. Keep up the good work and for more anime to come!

As the episode title says. The episode is focused on ‘The Father’ and the Homunculi. Expect some fighting scenes, mood splashes, and revelations (LING!!). Unfortunately, there’s no Roy or Ran Fan but we have to endure it. Overall, it’s a good episode, like always.

For the bloggers… I’m sorry if I hadn’t showed up much lately, busy as usual… B-but I’ll try to come!! Believe it!!

Recaps are expected for anime with many episodes, and that includes Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Yes… we’ve been following this thing for 6 months already and still… every episode of it is worth watching.

Since this episode is a mandatory recap, the episode is focused on retelling the story in summary. However, even though this is a recap, they didn’t let this chance to go away to tell some revelations. In addition, opening and ending songs were changed (Bye Hologram… and Let it out… I’ll miss you).

Really, after finishing blogging the previous episode (which is the day before I wrote this) another episode is here. I can’t decide whether this episode is a blessing or a product of despair. Anyway, let’s get over with our lives.

The episode revolves around Edward, Ling and Envy with a couple of scene from the other groups.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood 25 – The Door of Darkness

The Falls season had arrive everyone! get unto your seatbelt and let’s start to rock and roll! Fortunately (or unfortunately for others), Full Metal Alchemist is still running around armed with the manga plot twists. Again, dont forget to add this one on your watch list.

The episode contains a lot of Envy, Edward and Ling. Also as you all remember, Roy is on a huge crisis right now. Some of them will be solve in this episode and expect more cliffhangers: They love it (and so do I)

Okay let’s summarized what happened last time: Gluttony berserks. Roy meets Bradley. Ling, Edward and Envy got abducted. There. now let’s start episode 25.

The episode started with Edward calling out Alphonse then Ling. He found Ling and checked themselves if one of them are Envy (Since he has the power of copying identity, or she whatever). Fortunately, both of them are real.

<Episode Starts: 05>

<06-08>

Edward and Ling discussed some theories about where they are and concluded that they are at Gluttony’s stomach as seen from the items around them.

Next they tried finding a way to go out of the realm.

First they tried throwing a flamed tiped stick (or is it a bone) inside a well Edward created by alchemy. Sadly, no sound had produced. Meaning it’s a bottomless pit.

Second. They run insearch of the realm’s walls  (Seriously…)

Going back to Scar’s team. Scar is still hiding inside central together with his trustee loli and grown up slave. May Chang (the loli) couldn’t find her pet panda Xiao May (Which because a pile of armor abducted it).

Yoki (the slave) comforts May Chang, which ended up with May talking about her relationship with her adorable panda.

Scar was moved by May Chang’s story so the team started to search for the missing panda.

Back to the AlphonsexLing team. Ling couldn’t walk much longer and decided to give up. Edward however tried to persuade him to continue but it’s no use. He then decided to go on without him.

But in the end he decided to carry Ling in his back. Edward told Ling that he couldn’t die yet for the sake of the (story) his empire which made Ling returned back to his senses (not to mention the blood splash)

The two made a stop over and decided to find something to eat. In this case it’s Edward’s boots (Yes… Leather is edible… Through Alchemy! Oh god dont make me research about that).

The duo’s moral increases after eating (From the looks of the other scene, it’s dinner). After some conversation Envy came.

The two were shocked when Envy told them that there’s no way out. Envy also revealed that the realm is some kind of a failed replica of ‘the truth’ or more known as the gate where Edward saw in the past.

<35-36:Halftime!>

<37-38>

The two were in a series of shock. In addition to that, Envy revealed that the cause of the war between the ishbalans were Envy itself.

<39>

Due to anger. Edward punches Envy using his metal arm, however Envy didn’t dodge and manages to stay in place without even flinching.

<40-42>

Of course, a chain happens. Since Envy isn’t calm enough to control himself during this situation. He changes himself into his real self: A chimera being… an ugly one (I cant explain it, just look at the picture and be enlightened).

<43-44>

Back at Alphonse. Alphonse thinks about how he can return his brother back and comes into a conclusion. To go to ‘father’ which Gluttony is talking about.

And this is where the sham starts…

<45-48>

Roy’s Turn. Roy was alone with the Fuhrer. Bradley nicely pawned every move Roy made: Seperated his team and made Riza her secretary.

The duo’s turn. Envy is on rampage and smashing Edward and Ling like flies. Upon regrouping, Edward made a sword for Ling and create a blade in his automail.

Alphonse’s turn. Alphonse was surprise to where Gluttony had brought him…

At central…

Yes! done with the blog!! I should have done it a lot earlier yet uh… many things happened.

As you can see… the image is doubled than my last post. I had hard time decreasin it but some of them are quite good…

As expected. The episode is spectacularly good. Climax… Cliffhangers… Damnit! I feel like watching Code Geass again. The mood splashes are really… remarkable. One point you are laughing then around three seconds it’s serious. This is a very good anime so tell everyone to watch it!

Fullmetal Alchemist -Brotherhood- 24 – Inside the Belly

Wow… Episode 24 and it still making my adrenaline work overtime.

The battle continuous on (it’s been 3 episodes already when they have started) and it keeps getting better and better. Lots of fight, lots of revelation, and lots of plot twist. Recommended for ages 00 and above. Quick, if you guys haven’t started this show, start it now (except those who read the manga I guess…)

The episode started with Envy, bringing food to Dr. Marco in a room with some chimeras guarding it. Dr. Marco and Envy discussed what they will do to those ‘human sacrifices’. Dr. Marco guessed if they are going to use them to create the philosopher stone. Envy replied that his guessed is closed to what they are going to do.

<02>

Envy also revealed that (s)he heard from Lust that Dr. Marco decided to help the homunculus to save his beloved village. Envy continued ranting about how humans are so invulnerable

<Episode Title: 03>

Wrath’s Turn. The Fuhrer was walking alone outside the house where Wrath and his family walked before (gah… I forgot the episode). A voice talked to him, which he revealed to be Pride. Wrath replied that he is having fun to the way things are going: Which is all according the father’s plan.

<05-06>

The protagonists turn. Gluttony berserks, releasing a powerful blast of wind that destroys everything that is on its path. Roy tried to kill Gluttony with his fire alchemy but Gluttony just absorbed it. Gluttony starts attacking again. Roy and the Elric brothers run for their lives.

<07-08>

The three went to separate ways. Gluttony chases Roy. Gluttony almost ate Roy but Riza came to the rescue and shoots Gluttony three times in the skull. Roy escaped for the moment. Roy began to feel the damage he took from Envy from the previous episodes.

<09>

Ling arrived with Ran Fan to the car, with the doctor in it. Ling felt a presence from somewhere but ignores it for the meantime. Ling persuades the doctor to wait for the others.

<10>

Gluttony found Roy and attacks him. Unfortunately for him it is just a doll made of alchemy

<11-13>

Everyone arrived at the car. Ling and the Elric Brothers (and the panda…) said that they will stay for the purpose of increasing their knowledge about the Homunculi. Roy wanted to join but it is objected by everyone. Ling asked to make Ran Fan safe. For safety, Riza gave her gun to Edward, which Edward accepted.

The three looks at Gluttony as he berserks. A black hound appeared to them, which revealed to be Envy. Envy ordered Gluttony to stop.

<15-17>

After hearing ‘chibi’ from Envy, Edward attacks Envy. Envy, however, is just fooling around. The three confronted the Homunculi. Envy scolded Gluttony that he can’t eat the Elric brothers, though it is okay to eat Ling instead. The Elric Brothers devised a plan; they separated Ling and Gluttony and confronted Gluttony. Envy confronted Ling

Wrath’s turn. The Fuhrer is happily eating dinner together with his family. The Fuhrer’s wife boasted about Selim having the highest score on an essay about Selim’s father.

<19-20>

Upon Ling’s successful hit on Envy. Envy quickly changes his right arm into a snake and binds Ling. Having a huge advantage, Envy asked if Ling wanted to be cut, be strangle or bitten to death. Ling, however, kicks dirt unto Envy’s eyes and pulled out Envy’s snake arm. Envy was damaged severely.

The Elric brothers tried to restrict Gluttony but they miserably failed. The walls blocking the two has been destroyed, letting the other team enter the other side. Ling is on the upper hand, but got stopped when Envy transformed into Ran Fan. Gluttony attacks from behind, but Edward interfered. Since Edward is an important sacrifice, Envy tried to save Edward. Unfortunately, all three of them (if you don’t count the half of Envy, that’s 2 1/2) disappeared.

Alphonse confronted Gluttony, ordering him to spit out his brother. However, Gluttony replied that he cannot do that.

< 24>

The other group rests at the doctor’s house. Ran Fan said that she wanted to help in Ling’s battle but was denied by the Doctor. Roy and Riza however, cannot stay for awhile, they decided to go to and search who is their opponent and allies.

<25>

They visited another higher official named Raven. Roy apologizes for not coming for introductory due to duties. Raven replied that he doesn’t mind. He asked if Grumman is doing. Roy replied that he’s doing fine.

<26-28>

Roy and Raven continued their conversation as they walk to the meeting hall. Roy asked Raven if he knew about the rumors that the Fuhrer is a homunculus. Raven just laughed at him. Upon reaching the room, he saw many high ranking officials. He discovers that all of them knew about the Fuhrer’s secret.

<29>

Edward woke up in a deserted area with red water below. He recognizes that the water is actually blood. He shouted, asking where the hell is he!?

Nice episode. The plot is accelerating fast without any hints of slowing down. Not to mention the plot is very well constructed. Maes Hughes is shown on the flashback numerous times; it is really good to hear that he actually decoded everything before he got cut off in the show.

Now that someone mentioned that Ran Fan is voiced by Nana MIzuki, her moe factor rose up from 82% to 87%! I hope she’ll get well soon.
